Creepy Crayon!

September 26, 2022

Fall is one of my favorite seasons, especially at school. I love all the great fall and Halloween books that I can use to teach comprehension skills. If you’ve heard of Creepy Carrots! and Creepy Pair of Underwear! then you’ll be super excited to know that author Aaron Reynolds has come out with a third book in the Creepy series . . . CREEPY CRAYON!

This book doesn’t disappoint with it’s new creepy character – the creepy purple crayon! I knew immediately that I wanted to make a fun craftivity to use in the classroom to go along with this creepy book. As a teacher I love when things serve a dual purpose. I want a project that can be adorable enough to hang up but more importantly – serves an academic purpose as well. Drumroll please . . .
